Bio
I am currently a senior at Memphis College of
Art and will graduate in May with a BFA, a concentration in
photography and a minor in art history. I have been a
photographer for over 6 years and also have a fair amount of
graphic design experience. I grew up in the audio business
and have experience in audio production. I have also spent
time working as a wood worker building cabinetry and wall
paneling. I am currently assisting teach photo in a community
ed. class at MCA. I have been apart of a group called the
Rozelle Artists Guild
for a while now which is an artists cooperative trying
to get started here in Memphis. We recently sent off our
papers to the IRS to be registered as a non profit
organization. Please visit the site for more information
on Rozelle.
Gear
For film I use a Canon EOS Elan 7, and a Canon
EOS 20D for digital. The primary lens I use is a Canon 35mm
f-1.4 L series, hands down the best lens I have shot with and
well worth the money. For more specialty shots I use a Canon
100mm f-2.8 EF macro that also serves as my zoom lens, a very
nice macro lens especially for its price range and take
superbly sharp images. I have a Canon speedlight 430EX flash
for the odd occasion that I need a flash.
